The spiritual revolution may come too late
April 13, 2006
just as saying “I love you”
or “I’m sorry”
may come too late –
while slipping out of this life
on your back
mute and alone
surrounded by strangers.
wrestling with congruency
just as saying “I love you”
or “I’m sorry”
may come too late –
while slipping out of this life
on your back
mute and alone
surrounded by strangers.

This is honestly, one of the best poems I have heard in a long time, it is very hard to master the art of metaphors, but you got it.
