perhaps 6

this earth is a canvas
upon which
the universe paints
her truths
and souls come by
to experience
this display of
possibility
wrestling with congruency
this earth is a canvas
upon which
the universe paints
her truths
and souls come by
to experience
this display of
possibility

The earth displaying her goods for us…how pleasant a thought. Too bad more people don’t appreciate her more.

Hi qazse,
To me this is a lot like Blake’s ‘eternity in love with the products of time.’

Jules – ( I like the concept of Zen Production ) Had a rough day?
Twitches – I see the non-appreciation also as a truth expressed. It may not always be a truth; perhaps someday it will be less accepted.
fencer – from which poem is that line? I did a quick search and could not find.
thank y’all for the comments!

Hi qazse,
That’s a good question, source of that quote… I have it written down in an old notebook of mine with Blake as the source. I will try to find where I got it from!

Hi qazse,
I tracked the quote down…
It should read: “Eternity is in love with the productions of time.”
From The Marriage of Heaven and Hell, 1790.
