he is a coward
September 18, 2006
he once stopped by
and promised to resolve
my shattered bones.
he dried my tears,
placed a candle in my heart,
but not a flame.
he proclaimed,
I will never abandon you.
then he left.
he left to have sex
with violence – like John Wayne
slapping a woman.
although he showed up again,
he never returned.
he is not a builder.

“he left to have sex
with violence”
makes me think of an Ayn Rand novel.
And, he is not a uniter, either.

PS – Forget to mention how much I like this one. Well done.

thanks
When asked if he was a uniter, Bush replied: “uniter? I hardly know her… he he he…yeeeeeeeeeeeee haaaaaaaaaa!”

read this with and without the tag hints and it’s like looking at one of those shifting pictures. Really good.

How’s Philly?

Fall is in the air, none of my users forced me to kill them today, and I’ve got the Daily Show on (with a Colbert chaser to follow) – not much could be better.

Amen to that…a disappointing coward

Definitely not a builder. His talent is his skill at exploiting the weaknesses of the American people.

Ellen – you are blessed: crisp air, laughter, and the absense of criminal charges.
Jules – I would also include Mayor Ray Nagan in the pantheon of cowards. He was afraid to show his face at the Superdome and yet blamed all failures on others. Hey, if you become mayor of a city under sea level – public safety and contingency planning ought to be job number one.
Fencer – the only thing he has built is a deficit. Oh, yea – I forgot – the “Coalition of the Willing”. (as in “willing to take our money”)
You must be referring to weaknesses such as fear and loathing and short attention spans.
As always, thank you all for stopping by and commenting.
