    I know what you mean.
    Dublin reeks.

  2. I live in a medium city that wants to be a big city…wish they would all read this!

z-freek – I picture Dublin as a cross between the Hobbit and the Emerald City…I am crestfallen.

Heather – I live in a region with cities built upon coal, railroads, lumber, and regional economies (such as dress factories and breweries). Ninety five percent of it has been gone for two generations. The mafia and wannabes dump toxic waste into the mines which honeycomb under a large valley/ flood plane. It all empties into the Chesapeake.

    Hi qazse,

You capture that smell note well!

What a great print that is…

    Regards

Isn’t it terrific. I need to seek out the original source.

    Best

I find it fascinating that most (all?) of his work are digital prints. I’ve been intrigued by printmaking for a long time, but always been deterred by the chemicals, plates and presses. Simulating the same feel digitally… that’s a neat idea.

    Regards

Qazse: I fantasize about doing/creating some posters.

    Apologies for felling your crest

I really, really like this! It’s amazing what can be said in three lines. Well captured.

    z-freek – that’s okay, I have some glue.

ascender – thank you. BTW: I do plan on following thruogh on my meme but am thinking about doing it with photos.

Emily – thank you also. Sometimes a haikuesque approach is all that is needed. Saves on the amount of letters we take from the letter forest.

    Well,
if you need someone to hold it steady
    while the glue dries,
you know where to find me.

    Qazse: thank you mister z

An extremely perceptive, and expressive piece that really shows off what you can do with poetic imagery.
