I come here to think, to ruminate, and to smile…

Pauline – thank you for the comment. It reminded me of the more prevalent use of the word ruminate and prompted me to be more specific regarding about what one might be ruminating. I spent two decades working in the mental health field where rumination connoted a “symptom” rather than a process; a “problem” rather than a strength.

In addition, I want to say I am flattered that you regard this site in such a manner.

    Best

NOTE: My original title for this post was, “When you catch yourself ruminating”.

I am having trouble placing the image source credit in the proper spot. I will place it on the actual post once I solve the html problem.

I am in agreement with Pauline…and your site is a good place to look at life a bit more openly…something I am all in favor of.

I am trying to learn to do this right now. One day at a time, however…and don’t cut me off on the freeway or I might forget.

  7. qazse Says:

mikaelah – “openly” is a very nice compliment. If you ever think me closed minded, please let me know.

twitches – funny stuff – I have to work at it pro actively (read, meditate, workout) otherwise, in the heat of the moment I am more likely to use my default mode and start getting pissed. The trick is doing the pro active stuff consistently. That is my biggest challenge.

my best to both of you

    thanks for the smile

    Anonymous – you are welcome.
