Only then can I feel safe…
December 22, 2007
Hopefully someday –
there will be a camera
on each square of this earth
from back country meadows
to the underside of every dock.
Hopefully someday –
a secure fence will surround
and protect our country
running south of Manhattan
and returning from the north.
Only then can i feel safe.
Only then should they bring back our liberties.

Creepy.
I like.

Creepy you get 🙂

Hi qazse,
Neat “eye in a hole”!
Funny how all those drives for “security” typically develop the opposite…

Happy Holidays fencer. I am finally sitting down with a Stegmaier ale. For the past three days I have been infused with cookies like one might embed garlic cloves in a roast.
Thank you for your feedback regarding the graphic. (The Animation Library was a cool website.)
Regarding your observation, I concur. From time to time I will meet a law enforcement type who is unable to trust strangers when off duty. I find it disconcerting to be hanging with someone like that. I move away from that vibe.
Security disperses people. And dispersed people become unheard.
Best to you on this sweet holiday turned hooker

Good to see you’re still here making trouble, qazse.

Hello davidbdale! Good to see you too. I stop by from time to time and am glad to see you still writing and posting. I am not good at being a consistent visitor and commenter to my blogroll as you know (dead beat blogger). I have always appreciated your regard.
Best

Some bloggers are all about the visits and the comments, qazse; some are about posting the best they can. Both are valuable; one I prefer.

David – I love how you put that.
I have an idea for which I would like your opinion and the opinion of anyone else reading this:
I have been thinking of starting a participatory blog titled myBlogroll.
A blogger can enter a blurb, pics and links about blogs on their blogroll. They can take different angles. Even general pieces like blogroll etiquette and blogroll Q&A.
There are so many talented bloggers floating around out there. It could evolve into an index of sites also.
Thanks for your input

Just look above:
Agitation of hands. Strength of words.
Quirk
Very Short Novels
Three blogs by three unique, talented, and creative writers.
I am proud of all my blogroll. These three are representative of the great effort, dedication, quality, and skill which go into each blog endeavor on my roll.
I am fairly certain many other bloggers feel the same way I do.

I like the way you think, qazse.
I started an experiment on my own blogroll that might interest you. I have a very short Permanent Blogroll and a Rolling Blogroll that changes once a day like a slow scroll of guest stars. Links in the Temporary Blogroll point to particular posts I think deserve reading.

That is a cool idea.
