we have all died in vain

I apologize for not having the photo source cited. I was unable to find the origin. If anyone knows please let me know.
My prayers are with all those who have lost a loved one to war or wars’ long term effects. My dad served in several European campaigns during WWII. He passed away at the young age of 61.
Here’s to you dad. I love you.

For your dad, my dad, my grandfather and two uncles, for all who serve here and around the world- prayers of peace.
A heartful tribute, qazse.
Heart. Full.

I liked this one last year, and it’s still holding up in my mind. What strikes me about it is that I don’t know many actual soldiers who don’t end up feeling the same way.
Here’s to all the loved ones and ideas in need of remembrance…
