“A former adviser to the head of the Environmental Protection Agency said Vice President Dick Cheney’s office and the White House Council on Environmental Quality worried that if key health officials provided detailed testimony about global warming’s consequences on public health or the environment, it could make it more difficult to avoid regulating carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases”
It is kinda like how if you deny torturing people, you can avoid war crime prosecutions under the Geneva Convention. Or, if you pretend that you are not spying on innocent Americans without a warrant, then you can avoid those nasty 4th Amendment violation suits. I could go on, but you get the point.

It’s so sick.
What frustrates me is that this just goes on and on.
Where’s the justice? How does this continue? How do people get away with such wickedness?

Johnny and Christine, It is very frustrating. The whole bunch are criminals. Years ago there would have been massive demonstrations, today we are each kept “happy” in our electronic cocoon. We are given the illusion we are free and kept busy with things like Deal or No Deal, American Idol, internet, blogging, cell phone choice and the like… no time for frivolous protest.
Thanks for reading and commenting!

a caveat – I believe we should consider the fourth generation breeder reactors as a possible part of our strategy to drastically cut CO2 emissions. These reactors supposedly do not generate nuclear waste. Further, they can burn the present stockpile of radioactive waste as fuel. (Its efficiency factor is geometrically better that the old nuclear technology which is presently in operation today). I don’t know much more than that and have to study the issue myself.
