    all the drill
    baby drill, and outright lying
aimed at the masses who were educated/enculturated to do just what they are doing
watching TV and forming opinion based on
fear and repetition, fear and repetition
of suspicion and blame, suspicion and blame
as if this were seventeenth century Salem –
over and over, I’d rather be dead.

(that is not to say I don’t get my share of news but I don’t get CNN et al and therefore am less tempted. I get most of my news from NPR and the web. However, I know of many who have news on 24/7 and are convinced they need to stay on top of every twist and turn. I can understand the fascination. That does not justify it for me. So much time wasted by news junkies who are basically being indoctrinated to buy in a certain way and/or think in a certain way.

    That self indulgence
    is american and godly.
    Right makes right.
    To believe in stardom.

    Best

    PS a bit loquacious today.
