a waste of time,
something quite barbaric.
Bowing, kneeling,
drinking blood –
metaphysical hysteric.

I doubt God wastes any time thinking

I know nothing about this higher power I intuit. I may anthropomorphisize when I say “think” – but it is one of many poetic tools at the disposal of my subconscious. I’m just following orders.

Hi qazse,
I like “metaphysical hysterics”… theological panic, cosmological trepidation… but I labor after what you’ve summed up nicely.

sorry for the glib response – how would I know anyway – and you follow orders wonderfully – something that I notice I have a really hard time with. Beautiful haiku is what happens here so I am grateful for your to use whats in the toolbox – and the words you find ring with truth. best -m

fencer – thank you. “Theological panic” “cosmological trepidation” – nice.
I assume your “labor” reference refers to my “higher power” reference above. I am using the term “intuition” with more a psychological connotation than a philosophical one.

mikaelah –
You were not glib. I liked the challenge. It was as if we were hanging out. You had every right to interject your own take on the matter. Re-reading my response I can see where my “just following orders” remark might have been interpreted as defensive. I did not mean it so. I was attempting humor. (I am known for my jokes, but not my humor)

wouldn’t it be so funny if we finally come to find out when some brilliant person/s gets to the root of it all … that all the wars in the world…started out as “I was just attempting humor!”.. anyway that is where this mind went and I just write it down!
