    I read a certain a muted joy in this- the explosion, the ripples, the release and return.

    Though I succumb to it myself, the sadness of loss, I do try to think of the rest for the one who has left.

    Yes, there is joy in this poem. These bodies are borrowed, I believe, and eventually wear down. The spirit moves on and on until it fully breaks free of place. (The universe is nothing but place.)

    howard – “anything that celebrates who we really are, as opposed to the mortal coil we inhabit, is a welcome sentiment.” So true. We are surrounded by messages which limit us. Usually they are of the commercial kind which posit only a material paradigm.
