Bone grit
explodes into
a thousand circles

welcoming home
her borrowed
physicality.

oh so true…the five elements that makes nature makes us too…they all mix up and get back to where they belonged to..(borrowed from..as you say..)

    beautiful…

  2. qazse Says:

Narendra, Thank you. PS I have added you to the Blogroll – Poetry list. Something I meant to do a long time ago. Peace

  3. c Says:

I read a certain a muted joy in this- the explosion, the ripples, the release and return.

Though I succumb to it myself, the sadness of loss, I do try to think of the rest for the one who has left.

    Very good.

  4. qazse Says:

Yes, there is joy in this poem. These bodies are borrowed, I believe, and eventually wear down. The spirit moves on and on until it fully breaks free of place. (The universe is nothing but place.)

    thanks for stopping by c!

  5. Narendra Says:

  6. howard Says:

i love this also. anything that celebrates who we really are, as opposed to the mortal coil we inhabit, is a welcome sentiment.

  7. qazse Says:

    Narendra, Congratulations! Keep on writing!

howard – “anything that celebrates who we really are, as opposed to the mortal coil we inhabit, is a welcome sentiment.” So true. We are surrounded by messages which limit us. Usually they are of the commercial kind which posit only a material paradigm.

This one made me hold my breath for a bit afterwards.

  9. qazse Says:

z! Thanks. but don’t hold it for too long! I anticipate you will spread my ashes before I, yours.

PS to howard – btw, your above quote was so well put. Thought provoking and insightful.
