death class of 2064

January 22, 2010

The DJ

schmoozes
“And now we have a request”

“Here’s a little
Rage, Against, The Machine”

Then starts to croon,on the keyboard:

“Killing in the name of!
Some of those that work forces, are the same that burn crosses
Some of those that work forces, are the same that burn crosses
Some of those that work forces, are the same that burn crosses
Some of those that work forces, are the same that burn crosses…”

as the aids hand out medication.

lyrics:Rage Against the Machine

    great song and sentiment

Yes, a great song. I often muse what future nursing homes will look like with all the tats and hardware. So I thought I’d format those notions.

Hey, speaking of the Machine – your randomly assigned avatar has been indiscriminately changed. I liked the old one but this too is fine, Navajo-esque. I hope it is not too disorienting for you. An avatar can be like a mirror, and then one day there’s a different face in it – as if Mother Nature randomly assigned you a new one…

  3. Nurse Ratched is always there to mollify the puddin’ stirrers. Huxley’s futuristic pharmaceutical control grid is upon us. Shiny happy people indeed!

pillaging our minds… ah sweet surrender…

    hmmm…

perhaps i used the wrong email address (to affect the change in my avatar)? i think that’s one of the factors in how the avatars are formulated, but i’m not sure.

speaking of that song, i was thinking you might have heard the story about it beating out one Simon Cowell’s pre-fab music stars for the UK’s Christmas #1 this past year. if not, it’s a story worth googling — so fitting, for both the holiday and the meaning of the song (in my opinion).

    howard, a belated Thank You!
